I did see in the FAQ that there could be a false positive alert from your anti-virus and sure enough, I got an alert from Windows Defender that would not allow me to open the .exe file.
Surely there is a way to compile your program so that it is not blocked in this way?
I saw a comment on another thread that mentioned that users are wary about using programs from small developers and that might explain the small number of users interested in the program.
I submit that this type of malware alert could be a big reason for that. Even being assured that there is nothing malicious about the program, I have to say I am wary of using it now.
I do think your program is a much needed tool that might get more use if this problem was solved.

Maybe you should ask the author of Windows Defender? It's only up to you whether you trust or not to any program. Read this: > Add an exclusion to Windows Defender AntivirusIf you trust Windows Defender more than you trust people who already use this program, it's your personal thing. Btw, the interest in my program depends only on how many people know that it exists.

Windows defender has been with me a lot longer than a bunch of unknown users posting on your forum.
It is unfortunate that you label this my personal problem for being cautious rather than respond to what could be a real barrier to the use of your program.

My forum members and program users are unknown, but the skins created with their own creativity (and with the help of my program) are in their forums. That's a fact.
I'am sorry, but you misunderstood me - I said that it is up to you to decide. You've decided to trust Windows Defender and that's all right. I respect your decision and I don't force you to use my program.

I understand the wariness towards unknown programs and people. I got no alert from my system and anti virus programs, so I simply used the program and everything was fine. But I don't know how I would have reacted if I had gotten an alert. Like the admin says - it's up to each individual person.
I am quite sure that, if he knew how, he'd have removed the thing in the program that triggered the virus alert.
Anyway, I can only keep saying that the program is great, didn't show any strange and/or malicious activity on my system, and totally saved my sanity (as did the admin) when the migration happened. The board I'm responsible for actually looks better now than I'd ever have thought possible.
